New scientific findings, practical tips, literature recommendations and much more are offered by the member magazine LEDY of the German Federal Association for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia (BVL). The editors work together closely with the associations of the individual federal states and provide information about new developments in the areas of dyslexia and dyscalculia.
The fall edition from 2016 dedicates a double-page spread to the reading and spelling support program Meister Cody – Namagi. "The structure and concept of Meister Cody – Namagi are based on the latest research and the guidelines for diagnosis and support in the case of reading and/or writing disorders. This ensures that the findings from many years of research on dyslexia are adequately implemented and introduced directly into the tablet," says LEDY.
However, the training program for kindergarten and elementary school children with difficulties regarding reading and/or writing not only scores due to its scientificity and effectiveness. The recipe for success of the training concept is also based on a strongly motivating approach, which shows children a world full of adventure and imagination. The children hardly notice that they are learning due to the exciting backstory and a sophisticated reward system. They practice voluntarily and lose their fear of reading and writing.
