Searching for an enchanted treasure, participating in the panda race and finding the right way out of the maze – children know all of this from the math learning program Meister Cody – Talasia. If playing on the tablet is not enough, now you can also be a part of the adventure in real life.
What’s it about?
The time has come on September 30: the Bundesverband für Legasthenie und Dyskalkulie [BVL, Federal Association for Dyslexia and Dyscalculia] and Deutsche Kinderhilfe [German Children’s Aid] are organizing a nationwide day of action for the first time. The aim of the campaign is to draw attention to learning difficulties and allow affected children to receive adequate support at an early stage.
Solving problems together
Meister Cody would like to contribute with a promotion and give children with math weakness a voice. That is why we are inviting elementary school children to complete the free CODY placement test together in a small group. The test reliably recognizes the occurrence and likelihood of dyscalculia or math weakness. After the test results have been evaluated by researchers at the University of Münster, all parents receive the results by e-mail.
Solve the puzzle and find the hidden clues!
As a reward for the participation, we are then putting on a mathemagic city rally where parents and children join together to search for an enchanted treasure in the old town of Düsseldorf.
Find all parts of the treasure map and solve Meister Cody's tricky spells to get to the hidden treasure!
